this is so different.
i love giving advice to my 13 year old cousin natalia. she is such a sweetheart, and actually looks up to me, and thinks i’m “cool”(which is totally not true). this is so different though; i am just so used to trying to find inspiration, and feeling like a child myself (being 20). i have looked up to my older cousin noelia for almost everything, ever since i was a little girl; she made me realize i can be whoever i want to be and should never be ashamed of that. now i feel kind of special being the older one; giving advice from prior experience. what is really weird though, is that even some of my other young cousins don’t care to listen to a thing i have to say; just because i am “wierd” and “different”. i am not completely used to it, but it is nice. if she didn’t live four hours away, in new york, i would probably see her more often, and be a bit happier with myself; not worrying about everything all the time.
